I’m Ria, a Coach, Teacher and mum motivated to share healthier ways of working and living.

I have had a consistent calling to help women find a healthier way of working and living. Juggling both myself, I have experienced the pitfalls and ‘aha’ moments.

Over the last 20 years I have hosted webinars, workshops, retreats, coached and trained women on the results they often want to see in either their apperance, or how they manage stress and energy. During the time we work together, we shift mind-sets, find helpful pratices and daily routines that supports the hustle, bustle and juggle of day to day life and find that inner lionesses that has as much grace and grit in taking care of her family, work and things that matter to her.

The word ‘Wellness’ is now a household word. It’s ultimately a modern word, for ancient roots that date back as far as 3000-1500 BC when Ayurveda, an Indian holistic system striving to create harmony between mind, body and spirit. That harmony has intrigued me for many years, particularly with the chronic disease, poor mental health and obesity crisis raging worldwide. It has become a huge part of what I do today, partcularly with my own yoga pratice and the classes and masterclasses I teach.

Over the last 20 years, I have walked a wide and varied path when its come to health, fitness and wellness. I have experienced most transitions and challenges that many modern women face today, from juggling work and life commitments, infertility, pregnancy, motherhood,  working parents moving mountains(!) and sadly a cancer diagnosis, resulting in surgical menopause.

The ripples since the cancer diagnosis in 2014 ultimately helped me ‘take stock’ of what a woman needs to do to not only survive in the 21st century but Thrive. I’ve refined this into four foundation pillars to create harmony in mind, body and spirit with the integration of the knowledge and experiences I have had in that time.

With my professional and personal experience, I can help you make healthy, realistic, sustainable lifestyle choices without the fads, quick fixes and gimmicks – to help you improve your health and wellness for now, and for the long-term. My world depended on me finding it…

“It’s unusual to encounter someone with such outstanding qualities like Ria. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Ria, during her time as Head of
Wellbeing for Vodafone UK, as a partner to their delivery of wellbeing services.

I was particular blown-away by her passion and knowledge of health and wellbeing, that combined with her background in learning and development led to a truly outstanding ‘Employee Wellbeing’ strategy paper. Ria’s capability to cut through the rhetoric and to frame the context and direction was beautiful in its simplicity but sufficiently detailed to give perspective. Putting employees at the heart of the solution to help them to be at their best both at work and home and to cover all aspects of health and wellbeing was innovative and exciting.

Ria’s energy, candid approach and openness to feedback would be a benefit to any organisation and she comes with my genuine recommendation”.
